The sluggard does not plow in the autumn; he will seek at harvest and have nothing. (Proverbs 20:4 ESV)
Sometimes we work so hard surviving the daily battles of life when an easier day rolls along we fail to make good use of it. We accept the rest it provides. Fight the good fight every day. Rejoice that we can fight against the hard days and gain ground on the easier days. “Two steps forward and one step back” is still progress but only if we take two steps forward on the easier days.
